CHAPTER 743

(House Bill 1475)

AN ACT concerning

Department of Natural Resources - Abandoned,
Lost, or Seized Personal Property

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Natural Resources
to maintain custody of certain abandoned, lost, or seized
personal property under certain circumstances; requiring the
Department to return certain abandoned, lost, or seized
personal property to a specific person under certain
circumstances; requiring the Department to give a certain
notice under certain circumstances; authorizing the
Department of dispose of certain property in the best
interest of the State under certain circumstances;
clarifying certain language; and generally relating to
disposition of certain abandoned, lost, or seized personal
property in the custody of the Department of Natural
Resources.
