of insurance coverage for surviving spouses. Ch. 751
was subsequently codified as Article 48A, § 490H,
providing for the continuation of insurance coverage
for divorced spouses and dependent children. Ch. 756
was subsequently codified as Article 48A, § 490-I,
providing for the continuation of insurance coverage
for involuntarily terminated employees.

The omissions of the cross-references were noted by
the Office of Licensing and Certification Programs of
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

19-1006.

(a) (2) The Secretary may deny a license or a provisional
license to any applicant, OR MAY restrict, suspend, or revoke any
license or a provisional license if the applicant does not meet
the requirements of this subtitle or any regulation that the
Secretary adopts under this subtitle.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of a conjunction
in, and adds clarifying language to, § 19-1006(a)(2)
of the Health - General Article.

The language being clarified was contained in, and the
disjunctive conjunction, "or", was omitted from,. Ch.
107 of the Acts of 1985.

The omission of the conjunction was noted, and the
clarification suggested, by the counsel to the Office
of Licensing and Certification Programs of the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Article - Health Occupations

3-202.

(c) The consumer member of the Board:

(6) May not have [had] HAD, within 2 years before
appointment, a substantial financial interest in a person
regulated by the Board.                                                         

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of punctuation
in § 3-202(c)(6) of the Health Occupations Article.

The punctuation, a comma, was omitted from Ch. 702 of
the Acts of 1980.

The omission of the punctuation was noted, by the
Michie Company.
