foot benefit assessment or ad valorem tax is suspended or
exempted.

[(c) If property under § 5-102(b)(1)(ii) of this article is
not within a drainage area or otherwise provided direct or
indirect service from a WSSC storm drainage system, the WSSC may
not impose or collect the sanitary district ad valorem tax.]

6-108.

[(c) The WSSC may:

(1)  Plan, design, develop, construct, and maintain
storm and surface water drainage systems for the protection of
any property in any area of the sanitary district in Prince
George's County; and

(2)  Levy an ad valorem tax against all assessable
property in that area of the sanitary district.]

7-101.

(a)  In this title the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(b)  (1) "Major projects" means extensions, projects, or
programs of water[,] AND sewer[, and storm drainage] facilities.

(2)  "Major projects" includes:

(i) Sewer mains at least 15 inches in diameter;

(ii) Water mains at least 16 inches in
diameter; and

(iii) Sewage or water pumping stations, force
mains, and storage and other major facilities.

(3)  "Major projects" does not include a water main
that:

(i) Provides only local service;

(ii) Is 16 inches or more in diameter for only
a small segment of a future main; and

(iii) Is built to avoid unnecessary and
uneconomical duplication when a major project is constructed.

(c)  "WSSC Capital Improvements Program" means a 6 year
projected program of capital improvements for water[,] AND
sewer[, and storm drainage] facilities.
