MANUFACTURED IN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA.

[(d)] (E) A contract entered into or purchase made in
violation of this section is void.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County Board of Education - Procurement -

Products from South Africa

MC 710-87

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Montgomery County Board of
Education to provide in its bid specifications that a
product grown, mined, or manufactured in the Republic of
South Africa may be rejected; permitting the Montgomery
County Board of Education to reject a bid for a product
grown, mined, or manufactured in the Republic of South
Africa; and generally relating to the procurement process of
the Montgomery County Board of Education.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
