REQUESTED, AFTER the hearing, the Secretary shall approve,
reject, or modify the proposed deep mining plans.
(2) If the Secretary modifies or rejects a deep
mining plan, the operator shall be notified in writing of the
reasons for rejection or the modifications required. The operator
may resubmit the plan with the requested corrections or
modifications to the Secretary.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, it shall take effect from the date of its passage shall
take effect June 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning
Montgomery County Community Colleges - Bids and Contracts
MC 707-87
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of Trustees of
Montgomery Community College to provide in its bid
specifications that a product grown, manufactured or mined
in the Republic of South Africa may be rejected; permitting
the Board of Trustees of Montgomery College to reject a bid
for a product grown, manufactured or mined in the Republic
of South Africa; and generally relating to the procurement
process of the Board of Trustees of the Montgomery Community
College.
