Act shall take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Public Recreation on Private Land - Duties

and Liabilities of Landowner

FOR the purpose of providing that the owner of land does not owe
certain duties of care to persons who use the owner's land
for certain public recreation purposes; providing that this
Act does not limit the rights of certain persons to maintain
a certain action in trespass; providing that the dedication
or land does not take effect by certain uses of another

person's land under certain conditions; requiring the

Department of Natural Resources to adopt certain regulations

concerning snowmobiles; making stylistic changes; and

generally relating to the duties and liabilities of

landowners for other persons who enter the landowner's land
for certain recreation purposes, educational purposes, and
cutting firewood for certain purposes.

Using Snowmobiles or Cross-Country Skis on Private Land -
Duties of Persons Who Use Land of Others - Garrett County

FOR the purpose of providing for certain consent by certain
persons who use cross-country skis or snowmobiles on defined
parts of real property in Garrett County owned by certain
persons who make certain agreements concerning the real
property; providing for the application of certain laws
under certain circumstances; requiring the Department of
Natural Resources to adopt certain regulations under this
Act; and generally relating to the duties of persons who use
the real property in Garrett County of other persons for the
use of snowmobiles or cross-country skiiing.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
