SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 33 - Election Code

4A-2.

[(f) Certificates of candidacy for the candidates for
election as delegates to a national convention may be filed by
certified mail, return receipt requested, with the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws, and if mailed, must be
received by the State Board no later than 15 days before the
filing deadline.]

4A-3.

(a) (1) Except for certificates of candidacy filed by
petition or write-in candidates and as otherwise provided herein,
certificates of candidacy shall be received and filed in the
office of the appropriate board:
