(IV) SUBMITS EVIDENCE ACCEPTABLE TO THE BOARD
OF SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 3. has successfully completed 2
YEARS OF TRAINING IN A POSTGRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF A BOARD-APPROVED FIFTH PATHWAY
PROGRAM ; AND .
(V) MEETS THE OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED BY
THIS TITLE.
SECTION 3. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1987.

(House Bill 268)
AN ACT concerning
Racing - Sunday and Allocation of Revenues
FOR the purpose of broadening a certain authorization of Sunday
racing under certain conditions; requiring hat if the
Preakness Stakes is transferred, other than as a result of
certain circumstances, or sold to a buyer other than the
State of Maryland, the allocation of pari-mutuel wagering
revenues of certain thoroughbred racetracks be altered;
providing that the Preakness Stakes may be transferred to
another track in Maryland only as a result of a disaster or
an emergency situation; providing that the State reserves
the right of first refusal of any bona fide offer to
purchase the Preakness Stakes; requiring that the State be
notified by the licensee within a certain time period of any
bona fide offer to purchase the Preakness Stakes; requiring
that within a certain time period after receipt of the
notification of the bona fide offer, the State must submit
an offer that at least matches the terms and conditions of
the bona fide offer; providing that racing conducted on any
Sunday at any tracks operated by certain licensees shall
begin and end at certain times; making certain technical
changes; requiring the Department of Fiscal Services to
study the impact of Sunday racing at mile thoroughbred
tracks and, by a certain date, submits certain report to
the Legislative Policy Committee and the Department of
Budget and Fiscal Planning; making this Act contingent on
the taking effect of a certain other Act; and generally
relating to racing laws in the State.
