The name of a savings and loan association:

(4) May not include the words "commercial",
"federal", "government", "guaranteed", [or] "insured",
"Maryland", "national", "trust", "trustee", or "United States",
except that a savings and loan association in operation before
July 1, 1986 may continue to operate under its existing name.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This deletes an extraneous conjunction in §
9-203(4) of the Financial Institutions Article.

The extraneous disjunctive conjunction, "or", was
contained in Ch. 282 of the Acts of 1986.
