Ch. 11

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects stylistic errors in
cross-references and the omission of punctuation in §
l-101(g) of the Estates and Trusts Article.

The stylistic errors and the omission of the
punctuation, a colon, occurred in Ch. 11 of the Acts
of 1974.

The stylistic errors were noted by the Computer
Division of the Department of Legislative Reference.
The omission of the punctuation was noted by the
professional staff of the Legislative Division of the
Department of Legislative Reference.

2-203.

(b) The service referred to in subsection (a) OF THIS
SECTION [includes] INCLUDES:

(1)  Giving advice;

(2)  Referring business;

(3)  Performing a service other than for actual
expenses of travel incurred in connection with the probate of a
will; or

(4)  Acting as agent, representative or in any other
capacity for a surety corporation for which compensation is given
directly or indirectly.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a stylistic error in an
internal reference and the omission of punctuation in
§ 2-203(b) of the Estates and Trust Article.

2-204.

(a) At the time of assuming office, the register shall give
bond to the [state] STATE. The provisions of § 2-105(b), (d),
(e), (f), and (g) of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article
shall be applicable to the bond. It shall be for the term of his
office in the form and for the penalty the State Comptroller
prescribes, with the advice of the Legislative Auditor. The State
