Ch. 611

(F) ANY UNIT OF STATE GOVERNMENT THAT ENGAGES IN
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES INVOLVING LAND CLEARING ON FOREST LANDS
SHALL CONSULT WITH THE DEPARTMENT TO ASSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
SECTION:

(1)  BEFORE CUTTING IN OR CLEARING A FOREST; AND

(2)  BEFORE CREATING NEW FOREST LOCATING A

REFORESTATION AREA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act applies
to all construction activity involving land clearing by any unit
of State government for which bids are let after January 1, 1988.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Transporting and Leaving Animals Cats and Dogs in
Motor Vehicles —Prohibitions

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from leaving an animal a
cat or dog unattended in a standing or parked motor vehicle
under certain circumstances; authorizing certain individuals
to use reasonable force to remove an animal a cat or dog
from a vehicle under certain circumstances; providing that
certain individuals may not be held liable for damages
directly resulting from certain authorized actions;
prohibiting a person from transporting an animal in a motor
vehicle except under certain circumstances; and generally
relating to transporting and leaving animals cats and dogs
in motor vehicles.
