BELOW $1,000,000 SHALL ADVISE THE COMMISSIONER OF LABOR AND
INDUSTRY AND CEASE OPERATIONS UNTIL IT CAN OTHERWISE COMPLY WITH
THIS SECTION.
(5) (4) UNTIL REGULATIONS ARE ADOPTED BY THE
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER, THE OWNER OR LESSEE OF AN AMUSEMENT RIDE
OR ATTRACTION, DESCRIBED IN SUBSECTION (D)(1) OF THIS SECTION
MAY, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER, SATISFY
THIS SECTION IF IT ITS OWNER IS AUTHORIZED BY A COVENANT
RUNNING WITH THE LAND TO COLLECT PAYMENTS OR CHARGES BASED ON THE
VALUE OF REAL PROPERTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July June 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning
Charter Counties and Anne Arundel County - Sheriff's Office
FOR the purpose of providing for certain duties of a Sheriff in a
chartered county authorizing the County Council of Anne
Arundel County to provide for the removal of convicted
persons and for the safekeeping, custody, and transportation
of prisoners by certain county personnel; requiring the
County Council of Anne Arundel County to designate certain
positions and certain salaries of certain employees of the
Sheriff's Office; authorizing the County Executive of Anne
Arundel County to transfer deputy sheriffs into the Anne
Arundel County personnel system; providing that the salary
of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff will not be affected
during the present term of office; providing for a minimum
number of deputy sheriffs in Anne Arundel County; making
provisions of this Act severable; and generally relating to
the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office.
