safety, new and expanded services, legal rights, family
relations, human relations, and volunteer services;

(6)  Shall secure appropriate recognition to women's
accomplishments and contributions to this State; AND

(7)  Shall work to develop healthy attitudes within
the framework of the Commission's responsibilities.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of a colon and a
conjunction in Article 49C, § .4.

The colon and the conjunction, "and", were omitted
from Ch. 57 of the Acts of 1971.

The omission of the conjunction was noted by the
Michie Company. The omission of the colon was noted
by the professional staff of the Legislative Division
of the Department of Legislative Reference.

Article 49D - Office for Children and Youth

(b) The Governor shall appoint an Advisory Committee which
shall consist of:                                                       

(1)  The Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene, the
Secretary of Human Resources, the Superintendent of Education or
their designees; [and]                                                               

(2)  One representative from each children's council,
a total of 24; and

(3)  12 members appointed.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This deletes an extraneous conjunction in
Article 49D, § 2(b).

The extraneous conjunction "and" was contained in Ch.
426 of the Acts of 1978.

The extraneous conjunction was noted by the Michie
