raising of a sum up to $1,940,000 $1,500,000 as a matching fund
for this project is not presented to the Board of Public Works on
or before June 1, 1989, no funds under the provisions of this Act
shall thereafter be paid over to or expended for the purposes set
forth in Section 1(3) above, and the remaining proceeds of the
loan shall be applied to the purposes authorized in § 8-129 of
the State Finance and Procurement Article.
(6) The Maryland Institute. College of Art shall grant and
convey a perpetual preservation easement on the facade of the
annex, where appropriate, and on the land to the Maryland
Historical Trust in form and substance acceptable to the Trust.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning
Life Insurance - Incontestability and
Exclusion for Suicide
FOR the purpose of providing that under certain circumstances
certain statutory time periods affecting death benefits of
newly issued life insurance policies begin to run at certain
times an exclusion for death as a result of suicide shall be
deemed to have commenced on the date on which the insurer
first issued a life insurance policy to the insured; making
stylistic changes; and generally relating to life insurance.
