Ch. 11

LAWS OF MARYLAND

(1)  The Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene as
specified in § 4-217 of THE Health - General Article; and

(2)  Licensed funeral directors as specified in §
6-406 of the Health Occupations Article.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of an article in
Article 48A, § 490G(k).

The article, "the", was omitted from Ch. 681 of the
Acts of 1986.                     

The omission was noted by the Computer Division of the
Department of Legislative Reference.

(c)- If the person required to file any statement pursuant
to this section is a partnership, limited partnership, syndicate
or other group, the information called for by [paragraphs, (i)
through (vii) of subsection (a)] SUBSECTION (A)(1) THROUGH (VIII)
shall be given with respect to (1) each partner of such
partnership or limited partnership, (2) each member of such
syndicate or group and (3) each person who controls such partner
or member. If a person referred to in (1), (2) or (3) is a
corporation or the person required to file the statement referred
to in subsection (a) OF THIS SECTION is a corporation, the
information called for by [paragraphs (i) through (vii) of
subsection (a)] SUBSECTION (A)(1) THROUGH (VIII) shall be given
with respect to such corporation and each officer and director of
such corporation and each person who is directly or indirectly
the beneficial owner of more than 10% of the outstanding voting
securities of such corporation.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects outdated internal references
and a stylistic error in an internal reference in
Article 48A, § 494(c).

Ch. 199 of the Acts of 1986 added a paragraph (viii)
to subsection (a) of § 494.

The stylistic error occurred in Ch. 173 of the Acts of
1969.

The outdated internal references were noted by the
Michie Company. The stylistic error was noted by the
professional staff of the Legislative Division of the
Department of Legislative Reference.

(d) If any tender offer, request or invitation for tenders,
or agreement to exchange or otherwise acquire securities or to
merge or otherwise acquire control referred to in subsection (a)
OF THIS SECTION is proposed to be made by means of a registration
