(b) (1) Retail delivery to a purchaser of any alcoholic
beverages is prohibited in the counties specified in this
subsection unless the retail dealer is authorized to sell and
distribute alcoholic beverages in those counties by a license
issued by the clerk of the court of the respective county.

(2) The counties to which this subsection applies
are:

[(i) Garrett;]

[(ii)] (I) Howard;

[(iii)] (II) Kent;

[(iv)] (III) Queen Anne's; and

[(v)] (IV) Talbot.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987 July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

State of Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund
Corporation - Insurance of Savings Accounts

FOR the purpose of providing the conditions under which savings
accounts in certain savings and loan associations may toe
insured by the State of Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund
Corporation beyond the scheduled date of termination of such
insurance with the approval of the Fund Director and the
Secretary of Licensing and Regulation; and altering the date
of termination of such insurance coverage for certain
associations.
