AN ACT concerning
Family Law - Custody and Visitation
- Certain Records
FOR the purpose of establishing guidelines for the award of
custody of minor children; defining certain terms; providing
a certain order of preference for a court in awarding
custody; providing procedures and a certain presumption in
awarding custody; authorizing a court to order the use of a
mediation service under certain circumstances; permitting a
noncustodial parent to have access to certain records of a
minor child; authorizing a court to designate a parent as a
public welfare recipient under certain circumstances; and
generally relating to custody and visitation prohibiting
denial of access to certain records by a noncustodial parent
under certain circumstances; and generally relating to a
prohibition against the denial of access to certain records
by a noncustodial parent under certain circumstances.
