general circulation in this State.] IN ACCORDANCE WITH DIVISION
II OF THE STATE FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT ARTICLE AND THIS SECTION.

(2)  To promote competition and prevent monopolies, a
sufficient number of gasoline service stations operated by at
least two 2 different companies may be established in each
service area along the highway.

(3)  One person may not be awarded a lease for or have
the use of more than one half of the total number of service
stations on the entire highway, and one 1 supplier,
distributor, or retailer of motor fuel may not have the right to
market fuel identified by its trademark, trade name, or brand at
more than one half of the total number of service stations on the
entire highway.

(c)  [[The fuel products offered for sale on the highway
shall be sold at not more than LOWER THAN the price prevailing
for similar products at service stations in the vicinity of the
highway. ]] THE AUTHORITY SHALL REGULATE THE PRICES OF FUEL
PRODUCTS SOLD ON THE HIGHWAY TO THE EXTENT NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE
REASONABLE COSTS TO PATRONS.

(d)  The lessee of any service station established under
this section shall accept in payment for products sold and
services rendered those credit cards that the Authority directs.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Elderly - Continuing Care Communities

FOR the purpose of providing that a provider may not offer
continuing care, enter into continuing care agreements,
begin construction of facilities, or collect deposits for
continuing care until certain conditions are met; altering
certain requirements for a feasibility study, preliminary
certificate of registration, or certificate of registration;
requiring providers to submit certain actuarial information
at certain times; requiring a provider to refund deposits
and cease certain activities if the Office on Aging has not
