(3) A REPRESENTATIVE MEMBER WHO IS APPOINTED AFTER A
TERM HAS BEGUN SERVES ONLY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TERM AND
UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the
representative members of the Commission serving on July 1, 1987
expire on July 1, 1991.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

(Senate Bill 83)
AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Laws - Driver License Compact
FOR the purpose of providing for the State of Maryland to enter
into a certain driver license compact with other
jurisdictions in the United States; providing for the
reporting and effect of certain convictions; prohibiting the
Administration from assessing points against an individual
under certain circumstances; requiring the Administration to
assess points against an individual under certain
circumstances; prohibiting issuance of a driver's license
under certain circumstances; providing for the applicability
of certain other laws; providing that the Motor Vehicle
Administrator shall be the administrator of the provisions
of the compact; providing procedures for entering into
force, or withdrawing from, the compact; providing for the
construction of the compact and for the implementation of
this Act; providing for reimbursement of certain expenses of
the Administrator; providing for certain judicial review of
certain acts or omissions; defining certain terms; and
generally relating to the adoption of a driver license
compact.
