refinancing of public body obligations of a hospital, as defined
in § 19-301 of the Health - General Article, if:

(1)  The closure of a hospital is in accordance with §
19-115(m) OF THE HEALTH - GENERAL ARTICLE or the delicensure of a
hospital is in accordance with § 19-325 OF THE HEALTH - GENERAL
ARTICLE;

(2)  There are public body obligations with respect to
bonds issued by the Maryland Health and Higher Educational
Facilities Authority or State and local governmental entities;

(3)  The closure of the hospital is not the result of
a merger or consolidation with 1 or more other hospitals; and

(4)  The hospital plan for closure or delicensure and
the related financing or refinancing plan is acceptable to the
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Authority.

The stylistic errors occurred in Ch. 109 of the Acts
of the Regular Session of 1985.

Article 44A - Housing Authorities

(f) "Area of operation" of a housing authority of a city
shall include such city and the area within ten miles of the
territorial boundaries thereof, but shall not include any area
which lies within the territorial boundaries [by] OF any other
city as defined [herein] UNDER SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a stylistic error in an
internal reference and corrects nonsensical language
in Article 44A, § 3(f).

The stylistic error occurred in Ch. 517 of the Acts of
1937. The nonsensical language is the result of a
typographical error in the publication of the 1951
Edition of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

The stylistic error was noted by the professional

   Legislative Reference. The nonsensical language was

   noted by the Michie Company.
