(2)  Accept and expend any gifts, bequests, or grants
from public or private sources for any of the purposes of this
[subheading] SUBTITLE; and

(3)  Expend moneys made available by the budget and do
any other acts necessary to carry out this [subheading] SUBTITLE.

13-205.

The Office shall coordinate with activities of similar
offices, councils or boards appointed by any local governments
within this State for any of the purposes of this [subheading]
SUBTITLE.

Former subheading "Motion Picture and Television

Development Office and Advisory Council" became Title

13, Subtitle 2 of this article when the sections of

Article 41 were renumbered pursuant to Ch. 5 of the
Acts of 1986.

(a) The Department may contract with a nonprofit
organization to operate and manage the Fund under the provisions
of this [subheading] SUBTITLE.

13-304.

(a) All receipts designated for the Day Care Facilities
Loan Guarantee Fund shall be placed in the Fund and administered
by the Department including:

(1)  Premiums for guaranteeing loans; and

(2)  Income from investments that the State Treasurer,
on instruction of the Department makes for the Department under
this [subheading] SUBTITLE.

(c) In guaranteeing loans under this [subheading] SUBTITLE,
consideration shall be given to:

(1)  Geographic distribution;

(2)  Community need; and

(3)  Community income, with priority given to those
communities with the lowest median family income.
