addition, the projects of the Corporation shall be subject to all
zoning and subdivision regulations of the jurisdiction in which
the project is located.

The Corporation and its corporate existence shall terminate
and be of no effect after July 1, 1989; provided, however, that
no termination shall take effect so long as the Corporation shall
have bonds outstanding, unless adequate provision has been made
for the payment of them or provided that no such law shall affect
legal obligations pending as a result of agreements entered into
before the termination of the Corporation. Upon termination of
the existence of the Corporation, all its rights and properties
shall pass to and be vested in the State.]

This subtitle shall be liberally construed to effect its
purposes.

Subtitle 2. Maryland Small Business Extension
Service Center Program

[12-201.] 5-201.

(a)  (1) There is a Maryland Small Business Extension
Service Center Program within the Department [of Economic and
Community Development].

(2) The Department shall foster, support, and assist
the economic growth and revitalization of small business in
Maryland by coordinating the efforts of small business extension
services throughout the State.

(b)  (1) In this subtitle the following terms have the
meanings indicated.

(2)   "Program" means the Maryland Small Business
Extension Service Center Program.

(3)   "Secretary" means the Secretary of [the
Department of] Economic and [Community] EMPLOYMENT Development.

(4)   "Small business" means any Maryland business
concern that is independently owned and operated and is not
dominant in its field or industry.
