(2)  Assisting motion picture and television companies
to secure location permits and other appropriate services
connected with motion picture and television production; and

(3)  Facilitating cooperation from local government,
State, and federal government agencies and private sector groups
in the location and production of motion pictures and television.

The Office shall coordinate with activities of similar
offices, councils or boards appointed by any local governments
within this State for any of the purposes of this [subheading]
SUBTITLE.

[13-206.] 4-306.

The Council shall recommend to the Department [of Economic
and Community Development] any legislative or administrative
actions necessary to maintain and improve the position of the
State's motion picture and television industry in the national
and world market.

Title [12.] 5. Industrial and Commercial Development
and Assistance Programs

Subtitle 1. Maryland Economic Development Corporation

[12-101.] 5-101.

(a)  In this subtitle, the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(b)  "Bonds" means all bonds and notes of the Corporation,
including bond anticipation notes, revenue anticipation notes,
grant anticipation notes, refunding bonds, notes in the nature of
commercial paper, or other evidences of indebtedness of the
Corporation whether general or limited obligations of the

Corporation issued under this subtitle.

(c)   "Corporation" means the Maryland Economic Development
Corporation.

(d)  "Cost" shall include the purchase price of any project
or the cost of acquiring all or any portion of the right, title,
or interest of a project and the amount to be paid to discharge
all obligations necessary or desirable to vest title to the
project or any part of it in the Corporation or other owner; the
cost of any reconstruction, extension, enlargement, alteration,
repair, or improvement; the cost of all lands, properties,
rights, easements, franchises, and permits; the cost of all
labor, machinery, and equipment; financing charges; interest
