Former subheading "Safety Glazing" became Title 11,

Subtitle 6 of this article when the sections of

Article 41 were renumbered pursuant to Ch. 5 of the
Acts of 1986.

The provisions of this [section] SUBTITLE do not apply to
any person or persons who have executed a legally binding written
contract prior to July 1, 1973, the purpose of which is to sell,
fabricate, assemble, glaze, install, consent to or cause to be
installed glazing materials other than safety glazing materials
in, or for use in, any hazardous location in this State.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a stylistic error in a
cross-reference in Article 41, § 11-606.

The stylistic error occurred in Ch. 116 of the Acts of
1973.

The stylistic error was noted by the professional
staff of the Legislative Division of the Department of
Legislative Reference.

11-701.

(b) The Department of Economic and Community Development
shall manage and supervise the Maryland Housing Fund. The fund
shall be deposited with the State Treasurer to be held in such
banks as he deems proper and shall be accounted for by the State
Comptroller in a special account known as the "Maryland Housing
Fund". The fund shall be invested and reinvested in the same
manner as other State funds. The funds shall be used to insure
mortgages accepted by the Department under the provisions of
this [subheading] SUBTITLE, or to insure bonds or notes issued to
finance any project that is eligible for insurance under the
provisions of this section. The fund shall be managed in a
manner which maximizes assistance to local jurisdictions in
insuring mortgages under the provisions of this section.

(e) The Department shall promulgate such rules as are
necessary to carry out the purpose of this [subheading] SUBTITLE.
