use enough sweetener to make the sugar content of the finished
soft drink at least:

(1)  6 percent by weight in the case of ginger ale;
and

(2)  7 percent by weight in the case of all other soft
drinks.

(c) This section does not apply to:

(1)  Bottled water;

(2)  Fruit juice;

(3)  Any bitter drink;

(4)  Imitation beer; or

(5)  Any soft drink that is similar to a bitter drink
or imitation beer.]

(a.) Each soft drink manufacturer shall manufacture and
label its soft drinks in accordance with:

(1)  Subtitle 2 of this title; and

(2)  This subtitle.

(b)  Except as otherwise provided in this section, a soft
drink may contain as flavoring only pure flavoring material.

(c)  Except as otherwise provided in this section, a
manufacturer may add to a soft drink:

(1)  Additional fruit acid;

(2)  Artificial coloring; or

(3)  Any other harmless ingredient.

(d)  If a manufacturer adds an artificial coal tar color to
a soft drink, the manufacturer may add only a coal tar color that
is approved by the federal government.]

plant that is used to prepare, manufacture, pack, store, sell, or
