(House Bill 1487)

AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Conveyance of Land

FOR the purpose of providing that, in Charles County, a deed
conveying a parcel of land of containing more than a certain
size number of acres of unimproved, land is not required to
be accompanied by a survey plat under certain circumstances.

Article - Real Property

Section 3-108(1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1986 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Real Property

3-108.

(L) IN CHARLES COUNTY, A DEED CONVEYING A PARCEL OF LAND
CONTAINING MORE THAN 20 ACRES, AND NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN
APPLICATION FOR A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERMIT, OF UNIMPROVED LAND
IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SURVEY PLAT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.
