REMIT ANY PART OF A SENTENCE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF § 4-603 OF
THIS ARTICLE.

[(3) An] (4) IF ELIGIBLE FOR PAROLE UNDER THIS
SUBSECTION, AN inmate serving a term of life imprisonment and a
person serving a term of life imprisonment who is confined at
Patuxent Institution as an eligible person shall only be paroled
with the approval of the Governor.

(d) In any case in which the death penalty OR IMPRISONMENT
FOR LIFE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE is requested under
Article 27, § 412, a presentence investigation, including a
victim impact statement, shall be completed by the Division of
Parole and Probation, and shall be considered by the court or
jury before whom the separate sentencing proceeding is conducted
under Article 27, § 412 OR § 413.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission - Fines

MC/PG 21-87

FOR the purpose of altering the maximum amount of a pre-set fine
imposed for initial conviction and subsequent convictions of
a Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission
infraction; altering the maximum amounts of fines that the
District Court may impose on a person found to have
committed a Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission infraction; and generally relating to fines
imposed for violations of Commission infractions.
