SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

11-121.1.

"FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILER" MEANS A TRAVEL TRAILER THAT IS
DESIGNED TO BE LINKED TO A MOTOR VEHICLE FOR TOWING PURPOSES BY
MEANS OF A DEVICE COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS A FIFTH WHEEL.

(A) "Travel trailer" means a vehicle that:

(1)  Is mounted on wheels;

(2)  Is of such a size and weight as not to require
any special highway movement permit when towed by a motor
vehicle;

(3)  Is designed and constructed primarily to provide
temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or travel
use; and

(4)   [Is] EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS
SECTION, IS no longer than 35 feet.

(3) "TRAVEL TRAILER" INCLUDES A FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILER
THAT IS NO LONGER THAN 40 FEET.

24-104.1.

(d) Except as otherwise provided in this section, a bus
[or], a single unit truck, OR A CLASS M MOTOR HOME may not be
over 40 feet long.
