(E) ON DISCOVERY OF ANY EMPLOYER VIOLATING ANY PROVISION OF
THIS SECTION, THE COMMISSIONER SHALL:
(1) ISSUE AN IMMINENT DANGER CITATION TO THE
EMPLOYER;
(2) IMPOSE A FINE, AS THE COMMISSIONER DEEMS
APPROPRIATE; AND
(3) REQUIRE THE IMMEDIATE AND NONSTOP ABATEMENT OF
THE VIOLATION.

Departments
204-I.
(A) EACH COUNTY AND BALTIMORE CITY SHALL PREPARE AN
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN FOR RESPONDING TO AN EMERGENCY THAT
INVOLVES HAZARDOUS MATERIALS OR CONTROLLED HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES
AS DEFINED IN HEALTH - ENVIRONMENTAL ARTICLE.
(B) EACH COUNTY AND BALTIMORE CITY SHALL SUBMIT THE
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN REQUIRED UNDER THIS SECTION TO THE
SECRETARY OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONAL SERVICES BY JULY 1,
1987.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Education - Decisions Baltimore City - Notice of
Studies to Close Public Schools
FOR the purpose of requiring county boards of education and the
Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners to inform
certain members of the General Assembly of their decisions
to close certain public schools; and requiring the boards to
inform these members of the General Assembly of their
decisions prior to making them public the Baltimore City
Superintendent of Public Instruction to inform certain
members of the General Assembly at a certain time of certain
studies regarding the closing of certain public schools; and
