positions, as well as appointments to fill the positions of the
present members when their terms expire, shall be for a term of 4
years.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Bicycle Racing Events

FOR the purpose of providing that the State Highway
Administration or a local authority may approve a bicycle
racing event on a highway or a highway bridge under certain
circumstances; clarifying language; exempting participants
in a bicycle racing event from certain provisions of the
Maryland Vehicle Law under certain circumstances; and
generally relating to authorizing certain bicycle racing
events.
