AN ACT concerning

Washington County -
Detention Center Officers - Lie Detector Tests

FOR the purpose of providing that correctional officers of the
Washington County Detention Center are not covered by a
provision of law that prohibits the use of a lie detector
test as a condition of employment.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

95.

(a) (1) The following words have the meanings indicated.

(2) The term "employer" as used in this subtitle
means every employer engaged in any business or enterprise in
this State, including the government of the State of Maryland, or
any county, incorporated city or town, or other municipal
corporation.
