MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
CHARTER AMENDMENT
RESOLUTION #1
WHEREAS, the Charter of Loch Lynn Heights as enacted,
codified and published in the Code of Public Local Laws for
Garrett County, Maryland, being Article 12 of the Code of Public
Laws of Maryland, is outdated and no longer properly serves the
purposes for which it was enacted; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Loch Lynn Heights desire
to repeal in its entirety the existing Charter of Loch Lynn
Heights as now in effect and filed with the Secretary of State
and the Department of Legislative Reference and in its place
adopt as a new Charter for Loch Lynn Heights the following.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDERED AND RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of Loch Lynn Heights that the Charter of Loch Lynn
Heights as set out below and as published in the Code of Public
Local Laws for Garrett County, Maryland, 1971, BE REPEALED IN ITS
ENTIRETY, and the Charter of Loch Lynn Heights as set out below
BE ADOPTED and that Loch Lynn Heights be governed under and in
accordance with the following new charter.
[Section(s) 22-1 through 22-45, inclusive, of the Charter of
the Town of Loch Lynn Heights, Garrett County, as found in the
compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition)
repealed and added Sections 1 through 103, inclusive, to be the
new Charter of the Town of Loch Lynn Heights, Garrett County

RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS OF LUKE, ALLEGANY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE
11-E OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND, AND SECTION 13
OF ARTICLE 23A OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND, ENTITLED
"MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS", AS THAT SECTION WAS ENACTED BY CHAPTER
423 OF THE ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 1955,
ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF LUKE,
BY CHANGING ARTICLE III, SECTION 3004, OF THE TOWN'S 1979
EDITION".
[Section 3004 of the Charter of the Town of Luke, Allegany
County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of
Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
Effective Date May 6, 1986]
