MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE HE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND AND
SECTION 13 OF ARTICLE 23A OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957
EDITION AS AMENDED), TITLE "CORPORATION-MUNICIPAL", SUBTITLE
"HOME RULE", TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF GREENBELT,
FOUND, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, IN THE COMPILATION OF MUNICIPAL
CHARTERS OF MARYLAND (1983 EDITION AS AMENDED) AS PREPARED BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 77 OF THE
ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND OF 1983, BY REPEALING
AND REENACTING WITH AMENDMENTS SECTION 4, TITLE "CREATION;
QUALIFICATIONS; COMPENSATION", TO PROVIDE THAT THE MAYOR SHALL
RECEIVE A SALARY OF $4,400 PER ANNUM AND THAT THE OTHER MEMBERS
OF COUNCIL EACH SHALL RECEIVE A SALARY OF $4,000 PER ANNUM.

[Section 4 of the Charter of the City of Greenbelt, Prince
George's County as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters
of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAGERSTOWN TO
ENLARGE THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES AND THEREBY AMEND SECTION 104 OF
ARTICLE I OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF HAGERSTOWN AS SET FORTH
IN CHAPTER 1 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HAGERSTOWN, MARYLAND, AND
AT THE SAME TIME ESTABLISH THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE AREA
TO BE ANNEXED.
