DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects an internal reference to a
nonexistent subsection (c) in Article 38A, § 45C(a).

Subsection (c) was amended out of Ch. 118 of the Acts
of the Regular Session of the General Assembly of 1985
before the law was enacted.

The incorrect reference was noted by the Michie
Company.

(b) (3) (i) The first statement filed under this subsection
shall be filed with or prior to the filing of the certificate of
candidacy.

(ii) In each calendar year subsequent to the
year in which the certificate of candidacy is filed, except the
year of the election, the statement shall be filed on or before
April 30.

[(ii)] (III) In the year of the election, the
statement shall be filed on or before the earlier of:

1.   April 30; or

2.   The last day for withdrawal of

candidacy.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This makes a stylistic correction in
Article 40A, § 4-102(b)(3).

Ch. 655 of the Acts of the Regular Session of the
General Assembly of 1985 created two subparagraphs
(ii) in § 4-102(b)(3). Although the Michie Company
renumbered the second subparagraph (ii) to be
subparagraph (iii) in the 1985 Replacement Volume to
Volume 4 of the Annotated Code, it must be corrected
legislatively.

The stylistic error was noted by the Computer Division
of the Department of Legislative Reference and by the
Michie Company.
