JOINT RESOLUTIONS

RESOLVED, That the Governor designate the Chairman Chairman
of the Committee; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Committee report its findings and
recommendations to the Governor by December 1, 1987; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That staff for the Committee be provided by the
Department of Public Safety and Correction Correctional Services;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to Frank A. Hall, Secretary
of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services,

William J. DeVance, Director of the Division of Parole and

A House Joint Resolution concerning

Vietnam Veterans - Agent Orange Commission

FOR the purpose of urging the Governor to establish an Agent
Orange Commission to compile studies on the effects of Agent
Orange and other chemical defoliants on Vietnam veterans;
and generally relating to an Agent Orange Commission.

WHEREAS, Many Maryland citizens served their country in
Vietnam; and
