approved, licensed, registered, or certified by the
Superintendent of the Maryland State Police is considered for all
purposes to be approved, licensed, registered, or certified by
the Superintendent under this Act for the duration of the term
for which the approval, license, registration, or certification
was issued, and may renew that authorization in accordance with
the appropriate renewal provisions of this Act. Except as
expressly provided to the contrary in this Act, an individual who
was originally approved, licensed, registered, or certified under
a provision of law that has been deleted by this Act as obsolete
continues to meet the requirements to the same extent as if that
provision had not been deleted.

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 3 of
this Act shall take effect on October 1, 1986, contingent on the

taking effect of either Chapter ___ of the Acts of 1986 (S.B.

283) or Chapter ______ of the Acts of 1986 (H.B. 414), and if

neither of these chapters becomes effective, Section 3 of this
Act is null and void without the necessity of further action by
the General Assembly.

SECTION 6 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect October 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Life-Sustaining Procedures Declaration - Technical

Corrections

FOR the purpose of making technical corrections to the suggested
form of a declaration under the Life-Sustaining Procedures
subtitle to conform to other provisions of that subtitle and
to clarify the attestation provisions.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
