(c) An employer shall provide an employee training and
education program;

(1) For each new employee, prior to initial
assignment; and

(2) For all other employees, when additional
information is available.

(d) An employer shall provide additional instruction to an
employee whenever that employee;

(1) May be routinely exposed to additional hazardous
chemicals;

(2) May be required to take special precautions due
to hazardous chemicals; and

(3) May potentially be subject to increased exposure
due to changes in work practices, including changes in equipment
or the introduction of new hazardous chemicals into the
workplace.

(E) THE DIVISION OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY SHALL DEVELOP, IN
CONSULTATION WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY, A
MODEL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR USE BY THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY THAT
TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONSTRUCTION
INDUSTRY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

(House Bill 1418)

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City - Tax Sales - Alley Assessments

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a county the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore City from selling a taxpayer's or
acquiring by certain means certain taxpayer's property for
failure of the a taxpayer to pay a certain charge;
providing that except under certain circumstances the
provisions of this Act do not affect other rights or
remedies of Baltimore City; and generally relating to
collections of assessments and tax sales in Baltimore City
for failure to pay a certain charge.
