2970 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 780 (2) THE GOVERNOR SHALL REMOVE A MEMBER WHO CEASES TO 2-203. OFFICERS. (A) IN GENERAL. FROM AMONG ITS MEMBERS, THE BOARD SHALL ELECT: (1) A CHAIRMAN; AND (2) (I) A SECRETARY AND A TREASURER; OR (II) A SECRETARY-TREASURER. (B) ELECTIONS AND TERMS OF OFFICE. THE MANNER OF ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE 2-204. QUORUM; MEETINGS; COMPENSATION; STAFF. (A) QUORUM. A MAJORITY OF THE MEMBERS THEN SERVING ON THE BOARD IS A (B) MEETINGS. THE BOARD SHALL DETERMINE THE TIMES AND PLACES OF ITS (C) COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES. (1) COMPENSATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET; (2) REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD (D) STAFF. THE BOARD MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE 2-205. INJUNCTIVE POWER. IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER REMEDY AUTHORIZED UNDER THIS TITLE, THE BOARD, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, MAY SUE IN THE NAME OF THE STATE TO ENJOIN ANY ACT THAT IS PROHIBITED UNDER |
