said license without examination of the applicant, provided an
application is made to the said Board by the holder of such
license and said license fee of [twenty-five dollars ($25.00) is
again paid,] $35 IS AGAIN PAID ON OR BEFORE JUNE 30 OF EACH YEAR,
AND IF THIS FEE IS NOT PAID BY JUNE 30 OF EACH YEAR THEN THE
LICENSE FEE SHALL BE $50, and provided further that if the said
license and bond shall be reciprocal between other counties in
this State and written approval is given by the said Board of
Examiners no fee will be required, and renewal of said license
shall be for a period of one (1) year, and any [such] renewal of
such license shall have the same weight as evidence in any court
of this State as hereinbefore provided for said original license;
provided also, that one year renewals shall be granted in like
manner upon expiration of any renewal of license upon making like
application and paying like fee.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Workmen's Compensation - Subsequent Injury Fund
and Lump Sum Awards
FOR the purpose of requiring the Workmen's Compensation
Commission, when a lump sum is granted, to reduce the weekly
rate of compensation to a certain amount under certain
circumstances; requiring the Workmen's Compensation
Commission, when payments are made by the Subsequent Injury
Fund under the provisions relating to lump sum payments, to
determine the dollar amount and the precise number of weeks
to be paid; providing that certain provisions of law
relating to lump sum payments also apply to provisions
relating to costs and attorney's fees; requiring the
Workmen's Compensation Commission to deduct from awards made
against the Subsequent Injury Fund the dollar amount of
certain other awards previously made; providing a method of
deducting credit made in cases of permanent total
disability; repealing a certain provision relating to the
payment of a lump sum above a certain amount; and generally
relating to workmen's compensation awards.
