shall be held in the legislative district in which the site or
sites under consideration are located.
(2) In determining whether there exists a need for
the State to purchase a power plant site, the Public Service
Commission shall consider the suitability of sites owned by the
utility, within and without the State, INCLUDING, FOR THE POTOMAC
EDISON COMPANY, ALL SITES OWNED BY THE ALLEGHENY POWER SYSTEM,
the anticipated growth of electric power demand and the
alternative means and locations for meeting that demand, within
and without the State, in addition to the other factors as
required by law.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Wildlife Management - Reimbursement to Counties
FOR the purpose of providing for the establishment of a system of
reimbursement to local health and animal control departments
for the expense incurred in the disposition of wildlife,
including rabid animals; providing certain duties for the
Secretaries of Health and Mental Hygiene and Natural
Resources to carry out the purposes of this Act; and
generally relating to the reimbursement of local health and
animal control departments for the expense incurred in the
disposition of rabid and other wildlife.
Wild and Rabid Animals - Assistance to Counties
FOR the purpose of providing for the establishment of a statewide
system of assistance by the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene regarding the laboratory testing of rabid animals;
and providing for the establishment of a statewide system of
assistance by the Department of Natural Resources regarding
the disposition of wild animals in accordance with certain
agreements between the Department and the local political
subdivisions.
