AN ACT concerning

Workmen's Compensation - Temporary Total Disability -

Termination

FOR the purpose of requiring an insurer to provide, at a certain
time, written notice to the claimant of the insurer's
intention to terminate temporary total disability benefits;
requiring the notice to include a statement advising the
claimant of the right to request a hearing before the
Workmen's Compensation Commission on the issue of the
termination of temporary total benefits, as well as certain
other information; providing for certain exceptions; and
generally relating to the termination of temporary total
benefits by an insurer.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 101 - Workmen's Compensation

36.

Each employee (or in the case of death his family or
dependents) entitled to receive compensation under this article
shall receive the same in accordance with the following schedule
and except as in this article otherwise provided, such payment
shall be in lieu of any and all rights of action whatsoever
against any person whomsoever.

(2) (I) In case of temporary total disability,
sixty-six and two-thirds per centum of the average weekly wages
shall be paid to the employee during the continuance thereof, not
to exceed a maximum of one hundred per centum of the average
weekly wage of the State of Maryland as determined by the
