(2)  To adopt a seal;

(3)  To establish procedures for licensing
apprentices;

(4)  To keep a list of all individuals currently
licensed by the Board;

(5)  To investigate any alleged violation of this
title; [and]

(6)  To enforce this title; AND

(7)  TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING FALSE
AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING AND MISREPRESENTATION.

6-302.

[(a) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, to
qualify for a mortician license, an applicant shall be an
individual who meets the requirements of this section.

(b)  The applicant shall be of good moral character.

(c)  The. applicant shall be at least 18 years old.

(d)  (1) The applicant shall have completed successfully the
apprenticeship requirements of this subtitle.

(2)  An apprenticeship shall include:

(i) 2 years of practical experience in this
State and a 1-year course of study at a college of embalming that
is approved by the Board or by the Conference of Funeral Service
Examining Boards of the United States; or

(ii) 1 year of practical experience in this
State and a 2-year course of study at a college of embalming that
is approved by the Board or by the Conference of Funeral Service
Examining Boards of the United States.

(3)  The practical experience of an apprentice shall
include:

(i) Participation in at least 20 funerals; and

(ii) Assistance in the embalming of at least 20
dead human bodies.

(e)  Except as otherwise provided in this title, the
applicant shall pass an examination given by the Board under this
subtitle.]

(A) THE BOARD SHALL DETERMINE THE QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY
FOR A PERSON TO LAWFULLY ENGAGE IN THE PRACTICE OF MORTUARY
