(E) THE DEPARTMENT MAY RESTRICT THE TAKING OF RAZOR CLAMS
UNDER SUBSECTION (D) OF THIS SECTION TO AREAS DESIGNATED BY THE
DEPARTMENT FOR THIS PURPOSE PROVIDED THAT REGULATIONS DESIGNATING
SUCH AREAS ARE PROPOSED ON OR BEFORE MAY 1, 1986.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986. It shall remain effective for a period
of 1 year 2 years and, at the end of June 30, 1987 1988, and with
no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Workmen's Compensation Insurance - Self-Insurance Groups

FOR the purpose of permitting certain groups of private employers
to associate for the purpose of establishing joint workmen's
compensation self-insurance coverage; requiring the
Insurance Commissioner to adopt certain regulations;
providing for the creation of a Self-Insurers' Guaranty
Fund; establishing a certain penalty for certain violations;
authorizing the Insurance Commissioner to terminate the
operation of certain self-insurance groups under certain
circumstances; defining certain terms; and generally
relating to workmen's compensation self-insurance.

Section 598 and 599 to be under the new subtitle "43. Group

Self-Insurance for Workmen's Compensation"
