AN ACT concerning

Oysters - Experimental Propagation Propagation Activities

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Natural Resources
to establish a certain number of areas in certain places to
conduct oyster propagation propagation research;
establishing an Advisory Committee on Oyster Propagation
Research; providing for the composition, appointment, terms
and compensation for members of the Advisory Committee;

providing certain powers and duties for the Advisory

Committee; and generally relating to experimental oyster
propogation activities and the Advisory Committee on Oyster
Propogation Research.

Preamble

WHEREAS, The General Assembly intends this Act to aid in the
gathering of research concerning experimental oyster propagation
propagation activities; now, therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(A) THE DEPARTMENT SHALL ESTABLISH 2 3 SEPARATE AREAS
OF 10 ACRES OF SUBMERGED LAND EACH FOR OYSTER PROPOGATION
PROPAGATION RESEARCH IN THE VICINITY OF:

(1) HORN POINT IN CAMBRIDGE IN DORCHESTER COUNTY; AND
