THE PLAN OR AMENDMENT OVER THE DISAPPROVAL OF THE COUNTY
EXECUTIVE. FAILURE OF EITHER THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE OR THE COUNTY
COUNCIL TO ACT WITHIN THE TIME LIMITS IMPOSED SHALL CONSTITUTE
APPROVAL OF THE PLAN OR AMENDMENT AS SUBMITTED TO THE BODY WHICH
FAILS TO ACT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall

take effect December 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission -

Montgomery County - Membership

FOR the purpose of providing that the Montgomery County members

of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission are limited to being appointed for certain terms;
providing that there may not be a full-time member of the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission from
Montgomery County; providing that the County Executive of

Montgomery County may designate a member of the

Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission for
the position of Chairman or Vice Chairman subject to the
approval of the County Council; and generally relating to
membership of the Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission from Montgomery County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

and Planning Commission
