INTENT TO CHANGE THE NUMBER OF MILES INDICATED.
(2) "Deception" does not include puffing or false
statements of immaterial facts and exaggerated representations
unlikely to deceive ordinary persons.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Creation of a State Debt - Maryland
Homes for the Handicapped, Inc.

FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State Debt in
the amount of $247,000 $97,000 $100,000, the proceeds to be
used as a grant to Maryland Homes for the Handicapped, Inc.
for the purpose of the planning, design, construction,
renovation, rehabilitation, and equipping of greenhouses and
the planning, design, construction, and equipping of a
building to serve severely and medically involved persons at
the site of the White Marsh area nursery business owned by
Maryland Homes for the Handicapped, Inc. and for the purpose
of the planning, design, construction, and equipping of a
building adjacent to or an addition to an existing senior
center in Baltimore County to be used in conjunction with
the senior center to provide day program services for
mentally retarded elderly citizens, subject to the
requirement that Maryland Homes for the Handicapped, Inc.
provide at least an equal and matching fund of a certain
kind for the same purpose by a certain date; and providing
generally for the issue and sale of bonds evidencing the
loan.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through a State
loan to be known as the Maryland Homes for the Handicapped, Inc.
Loan of 1986 in the total principal amount of 247,000 $97,000
$100,000. This loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale,
and delivery of State general obligation bonds authorized by a
