(b)(1) Each county health department shall carry out [a
high blood pressure program] PROGRAMS that [conforms] CONFORM to
the guidelines established under subsection (a) of this section.

(2) The Department shall include in its annual budget
request appropriate funding [for county health departments] to

carry out [high blood pressure] programs under this section.

(B) A STATE OR COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT THAT CARRIES OUT
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND RELATED CARDIOVASCULAR RISK FACTORS
PROGRAMS SHALL CONFORM TO THE GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED UNDER
SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION.

(c) Each year, the Commission shall:

(1)  Evaluate [the entire high blood pressure program]

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND RELATED CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE RISK
FACTORS PROGRAMS; and

(2)  Send the evaluation with a report to the
Governor.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall

take effect July 1, 1986.

Blind Persons - Minimum Wage

FOR the purpose of removing blind persons who work in certain

workshops from the list of groups of disabled persons who
the Commissioner of Labor and Industry may authorize to be
compensated at less than the fixed minimum wage of the Wage
and Hour Law.
