(3) Where a loading zone is available, a school
vehicle driver, unless otherwise required for safety, may not
stop on the roadway for the purpose of receiving or discharging
passengers, but shall use the loading zone for this purpose.

22-230.

(a) A person may not have for sale, sell, or offer for sale
for use on or as a part of the equipment of a motor vehicle,
trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer[, or use on any such
vehicle,] any head lamp, auxiliary or fog lamp, rear lamp, signal
lamp, or reflector, which reflector OR LAMP is required under
this title, or parts of any of the foregoing, which tend to
change the original design or performance, unless of a type that
has been submitted to the Administrator and approved by him.

(B) A PERSON MAY NOT USE ON A MOTOR VEHICLE, TRAILER,
SEMITRAILER, OR POLE TRAILER A HEAD LAMP, AUXILIARY OR FOG LAMP,
REAR LAMP, SIGNAL LAMP, OR REFLECTOR, WHICH REFLECTOR OR LAMP IS
REQUIRED UNDER THIS TITLE, OR PARTS OF ANY OF THE FOREGOING,
WHICH TEND TO CHANGE THE ORIGINAL DESIGN OR PERFORMANCE, UNLESS
OF A TYPE THAT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO, AND APPROVED BY, THE
ADMINISTRATOR.

[(b)] (C) A person may not have for sale, sell, or offer
for sale for use on or as a part of the equipment of a motor
vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer any lamp or device
mentioned in this section that has been approved by the
Administrator unless the lamp or device bears on it the trademark
or name under which it is approved so as to be legible when
installed.

[(c)] (D) A person may not use on any motor vehicle,
trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer any lamp or reflector that
tends to change its original design or performance, unless the
lamp or reflector is of a type that has been approved by the
Administrator and is mounted, adjusted, and aimed in accordance
with rules and regulations adopted by the Administrator.

22-401.

(a) [(1)] Every motor vehicle when operated on a highway
shall be equipped with a horn in good working order and capable
of emitting sound audible under normal conditions from a distance
of not less than 200 feet, but no horn or other warning device
may emit an unreasonably loud or harsh sound or a whistle.

[(2)] (B) The driver of a motor vehicle shall, when
reasonably necessary to insure safe operation, give audible
warning with his horn, but may not otherwise use the horn when on
a highway.

[(b)] (C) No vehicle may be equipped with nor may any
person use on a vehicle any siren, whistle, or bell, except as
otherwise permitted in this section.
