HARRY HUGHES, Governor 1671 CHAPTER 460 (House Bill 534) AN ACT concerning Restricted Gill Nets - Maximum
FOR the purpose of authorizing the use of restricted gill nets in all tidal waters of the State; making corrections; and BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments, Article - Natural Resources Section 4-701(d)(1)(iii) Annotated Code of Maryland (1983 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Natural Resources Section 4-709 Annotated Code of Maryland (1983 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Natural Resources 4-701. (d) (1) The following annual license fees shall apply: (iii) To catch finfish for personal consumption 4-709. A person may be licensed to utilize a restricted gill net CHESAPEAKE BAY AND ITS TIDAL TRIBUTARIES AND 100 YARDS IN LENGTH OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY and not to be used for commercial purposes. |
