(i) [Counsel the child or the parent or
both] , OR ORDER THE CHILD, OR THE PARENT, GUARDIAN, OR
CUSTODIAN OF THE CHILD, TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ALCOHOL EDUCATION OR
REHABILITATION PROGRAM THAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD
AND FAMILY;
(ii) Impose a civil fine of not more than $25
for the first violation and a civil fine of not more than $100
for the second and subsequent violations;
(iii) Order the child to participate in a
supervised work program for not more than 20 hours for the first
violation and not more than 40 hours for the second and
subsequent violations.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Rape Victims - Costs of Medical Services
FOR the purpose of increasing the number of services for which a
physician or hospital is entitled to payment by the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene if the physician or
hospital provides any of the services to a victim of an
alleged rape or sexual offense; and clarifying language.
FOR the purpose of specifying that the victim of a rape or sexual
offense is entitled under certain circumstances to an award
made by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board; altering
the amount of emergency awards allowed under the Criminal
Injuries Compensation Act; and generally relating to payment
for certain services to a victim of a rape or sexual offense
increasing the number of services for which a physician or.
hospital is entitled to payment by the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene if the physician or hospital provides any
of the services to a victim of an alleged rape or sexual
offense; and clarifying language.
